What stores in Canada sell nice, inexpensive clutch/evening purses?
I've looked in all the shoe stores around where I live and checked Walmart, Zellers, Sears and Winners. Haven't looked in The Bay, and I will, but I don't want to pay like 50 bucks. I'm looking for around $20. Does anyone know?
Oh, and I'm not looking for a wild, colourful, frilly one. Simple black, medium sized, maybe with some silver embellishment but nothing over the top.
Ardene? Shoppers Drug Mart? Urban planet? Winners? Bentley?
I got a really nice reversable one for 15 dollars at Zellers not too long ago.

horse punch?
my friend went to the stables the other day with his sister and her 4 month old son. when they got in, the boy started walking! but then the horse shit on my friends shoe, so he punched it in the ass. the horse then kicked back, and kicked the boy! the boy careened through the air into a pile of manure and suffocated and died. is this my friends fault? hope someone can help.
Very interesting question.....personally I would do the following.....
Get in the horses face and tell him that if he doesnt talk like Mr. Ed and apologize ASAP that you are going to turn him into glue.....I would also threaten him with Iron prods and tire irons. Beat the living hell out of it. If that doesnt work, just send your girlfriend there for an hour or 2 and have her talk to him. Most animals would rather you kill them or any of the above than listen to a female talk. Hope that helps!

Holiday party table decor?
I am having a holiday party and the table will be set buffet style but elegant. The flowers will be long pine branches with magnolia leaves and white roses. The dishes are ornate embossed glass with gilded gold and plum and aqua colors.
I would like to put some kind of cloth on the table to cover up the different levels that I will be creating but velvet is not only expensive but doesn't seem practical. Any suggestions on what I can do instead? Something to cover up the (tupperware or whatever) things that I will be using as levels.
I was thinking of throwing some flower petals and mirror squares on the cloth too.

I think you're on the right track with the fabric, but it doesn't have to be velvet. go to your local fabric store and check out all they have. I would suggest a taffeta (it has a sheen, drapes nicely, and is used mostly for linings in coats or as dress fabric)
ask the clerk to give you swatches of the colors you might be interested in, and take them home to compare with your dishes. go with two or three colors to add interest.

How much do you think my motorcycle leathers are worth?
Okay, I have some brown motorcycle leathers. There a complete suit, trousers and top connected together. They also have a matching pair of boots the same colour. The leathers are probably on the best side of medium going to large and are official Honda leathers. They have the honda logo embroidered on them and the boots.
I think they're from around 1960 -1970 in date and I would like to sell them in order to buy myself some leathers for my new motorcycle. Thanks for any answers!

I want to set up a dressing table complete with bulbs around the mirror. How to lay the wirings and connecttions?
First of all position it on the wall where the window is, or you will get the daylight on the mirror and make it difficult so see you images, for wiring all you need to do is connect the wires to the plug connectors and plug it in.

When I was in Paris, I saw street people with boom boxes and little, thin dancing dolls. How do they work?
The dolls would be by a wall and apparently were not attached to anything. They appeared to dance to the beat of the boom-box music.
this is almost definately a con, I've seen these here, little paper figures of mickey and minnie mouse, and people being charged £5 for them, they are just that, paper figures, that are conected by thread between two fixed objects and vibrated by hand and the beat of the boom boxes..... don't be conned

How to sell a travel brochure design to a travel agency?
I designed a travel brochure in my graphic design class and I got some pretty good feedback from teachers and students, I was thinking about trying to sell my design to a travel agency or something like that does anyone know how I would go about doing this?
Well, your best bet would be to schedule an appointment and meet up with them. Show them the design and tell them how they could benefit from it. It's going to be tough because, if the design does not match their concept and image, they wouldn't take it, unless they are willing to revamp their entire image or they plan to someday. Keep your hopes up and learn to negotiate. To sell your design to the travel agency is going to take marketing skill. The main thing is how will they benefit from it. We all buy things only when we know we will benefit from it. Don't say "It's a great design and everybody who saw this liked it". Say their travel agency is "going to look more impressive or classy with this design". This is marketing.
