My vet said he used the cornell method to stitch my puppy after her spay... has anyone ever hear of this?
I was told that there are three layers of stitches. The internal ones are nylon and non dissolving so they stay forever, then a dissolving layer under the skin and a top layer that needs to be removed.
This when they stitch in a XXXX like pattern
This is commonly done with a lot of surgeries but it I have never had it done on my dogs.
