Most of the time, you do need to use stablizer. Deepens on the fabric. You definitely do with stretchy or very lite fabric. Stablizer usually goes under the fabric and your fabric is always on top where it embroiders. Main point is to have a neat close to drum-like well positioned fabric in hoop.

I just purchased my Disney Machine. Do you have to use a stabalizer everytime you embroidery and what side do you put the stabalizer on?

Yes try buying some …
Yes try buying some Tear-Away Embroidery Stabilizer. You can get it at any craft store. Just put the stabalizer under the cloth and sew. We find it’s a lot easier, especially on T-shirts, since their so thin! =D
